Ethos of Well(being) (we are beings after all) is a personal blog and platform which shares my insights from 19 years in front line mental health as a carer, nurse and sometimes patient living with bipolar. It explores everything from psychology, to gut health, cultural significances, medication, meditation and more, in the hopes of challenging stigma, promoting better mental health and understanding through promoting workshops within communities and businesses alike.

A clear glass carafe filled with filtered water, beside a meticulously plated breakfast of steel-cut oats garnished with vibrantly fresh berries and a few walnut halves, all set atop a folded flax linen napkin. The tabletop is smooth and pale, perhaps birch, complemented by a structured background of neutral-colored vertical blinds. Gentle early morning light streams in, casting subtle, elongated shadows and imparting a clean, energizing atmosphere. Captured from a slightly elevated, off-center angle to emphasize neat composition and balance, the shallow depth of field softly blurs the background. This image is photographic and minimalist, embodying nurturing habits and gut health fundamentals for mental wellbeing.
An elegant analog clock with a brushed metal frame and clean white face, hands accented in muted steel, is mounted on a softly textured stone wall. Around the clock, slim bookshelves hold volumes with understated, neutral spines and a small, ordered arrangement of potted ferns and succulents. Ambient natural light from an unseen window gently washes the scene, emphasizing the passage of time while keeping the palette calm and composed. The shot is framed according to the rule of thirds, from a slight upward angle that highlights the structured, corporate environment. The mood is contemplative and composed, echoing circadian rhythms and the rhythm of self-care in a modern educational context.
